2013 was the year I decided to stop doing anthology stuff and focus on doing some pitches. One of them paid off (will be announced later in the year). And I got to draw DD and Robocop. 2013 was a pretty amazing year.
(HUGE thanks to Mark Waid, Chris Samnee, Stephen Wacker and Ellie Pyle for giving me the chance to cross “drawing a Daredevil comic” off my bucket list!)
In February, BOOM! Studios will be releasing 4 one-shot ROBOCOP comics to tie in with the new ROBOCOP movie. One of those books, “RoboCop: Hominem Ex Machina” to be exact, is drawn by me. I provided the pencils and inks, Michael Moreci (Hoax Hunters) wrote it and Riley Rossmo (Drumheller) did the cover (seen above). It comes out Feb. 26th, so make sure to check it out.
This is the pinup I submitted to the 2014 Monsters and Dames book that the fine people at Emerald City Comic Con put together to raise funds for Seattle Children’s Hospital. The line work is me and the amazing colours are by Shari Chankhamma! Fingers crossed that it makes it into the book.
It’s been officially announced that I am drawing Daredevil #33! How awesome is that? Very!! It’s on sale November 20th! Here is the link to the preview: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=18696
On September 7th and 8th, I’ll be at the Baltimore Comic-Con selling Kill All Monsters trades and prints. I will also have a pinup in the Usagi Yojimbo Yearbook that the good people of the con are putting together. Buy a book and drop by my table for a signature on it. Maybe even have a chat! Hope to see you there!
Here are 4 of the 85 sketchcards I did for the Kill All Monsters kickstarter campaign. I had a lot of fun drawing these. I got to draw stuff that hasn’t happened in the book, yet!

With about 29 hours to go (as I write this), the Kill All Monsters Kickstarter has almost reached $11K! But whatever the final total is, it’s already far exceeded our expectations. The support and encouragement we have received has been overwhelming. We’ll never be able to express our gratitude appropriately. To all those who have backed the project, spread the word and/or commented… Michael and I humbly thank you. You guys rock!
You can still get the book, if you miss the Kickstarter! It is available to order through your comic retailer. It will also be available via Amazon.com and Comixology, very soon! I’ll make sure to update this site with that info when it happens!
Thank you for all your support!
Only 3 days left to get in on the ground floor! We’ve almost hit the $10K mark! Check out our Kickstarter campaign and have a look at all the cool things we have to pledge for. T-shits, prints, original art and the Kill All Monsters trade, of course!
We have a Kickstarter campaign going to help pay for the printing and distribution of the Kill All Monsters, Volume 1: Ruins of Paris trade! There are lots of different levels to chose from. Some are limited in quantity. Follow the link below to the Kickstarter page and have a look!
If you are going to be at the Fan Expo Vancouver ’13 show, you can find me at table P21. Please drop by and say hello!
