I’ve been recruited to draw one of the stories in the next volume of FUBAR. I LOVED the first volume so it was an honour to be asked to draw Phil McClorey’s tale, Catch of the Day. This is a part of a roughed out page from that story. As you can see, it`s a mix of traditional pencil drawing and digital drawing. This might be the last time I do that, though. I think 100% digital roughs are the way I`m going to go, from here on out.
Anyways, time to start inking it!
This a panel from the second part of “Not At the End”, the zombie story that I am drawing for Zombie Bomb!. It will appear in Vol. 3. The sweet colours are by Lawrence Basso and Jeff Fugelsang.
I was out of town for the entire weekend. We went up to Alice Lake and did some camping. I ended up getting a wicked sunburn on the tops of my feet. But other than that, it was an excellent time.
I did managed to get a few things drawn while sitting at the firelight… but some of them were ruined when I left them out in the rain. Here’s one of them that survived.

As you can see, the blog building continues. We still have to get the No Quarter archives moved over and add a custom header and such… but it’s getting there. In the meantime…
I’ve finished up the art for the 2nd part of the zombie story, “Not at the End”, that Anthony Schiavino and I are contributing to the Zombie Bomb series (Man, zombies are fun to draw!). There is a 3rd part which I will be drawing in the coming months. Until then, however, I will be focusing on drawing up a new Perhapanauts tale that will be featured on the Perhapanauts site. Sort of a “Tales of the Perhapanauts” thing. The story was penned by writer/artist/editor pal, Rich Woodall. It’s going to be a lot of fun! I’ll be posting my progress on that one, as I go along.
