Assembling a Post

Ok. There is this movie out right now that you may have heard about. It’s called The Avengers. It’s a good movie, apparently… I haven’t seen it, yet, but I know the source material.

In honour of the movie’s release and more importantly in honour of the creators that made these wonderful characters which in turn made the movie possible, this week is Avengers Assemble Week here at No Quarter!

First up is a personal favorite, The Mighty Thor! Thor has been credited as created by editor-plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and penciller Jack Kirby.

A Conspiracy

I was hoping to show you the final inks for the new Kill All Monsters! cover today but I have decided to postpone that until the launch of KAM!. Our host, the fine people at www.Review2akill.com, are continuing to work out the bug in their new comic reader. We had hoped to go live with the comic tomorrow but technology is conspiring against us.I will let you know when to tune in as soon as I get word.

So, instead of the KAM! inks, I give you another drawing of Thor standing around waiting for some action….Thanks for looking!

This Time

I had this almost ready to go about 2 hours ago. Then the power for the entire block went out and I lost everything I had done… including the basic scan of the drawing. Saving while you go? That’s for squares, man! I live by the seat of my comic book making pants, yo! No feature like saving is going to suck the spontaneity out of my drawing process, brah!

Um….

So, the power is back on and the scanning and zip-toning has been done, again. I even saved it, this time.
