It’s been officially announced that I am drawing Daredevil #33! How awesome is that? Very!! It’s on sale November 20th! Here is the link to the preview: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=18696
2 quick drawings of everyone’s favorite Spaceknight action figure turned Marvel Comic icon! I’m toying (hahaha I love me some puns!) with the idea of doing a few more convention prints and people seemed to be interested in seeing my take on ROM. I put my pen nib and brushes to work and these were the results. I think adding more of a story to them would make them stronger so I don’t see either of these made into prints. I do see them as original sketches to sell though…
This is a commission I did, recently. It is a cover recreation of the Avengers #363 V1 originally drawn by Steve Epting (inked by Tom Palmer…?). This was the first time I’ve ever drawn the Black Knight.
Ink and whiteout on bristol.
And that does it for Avengers Assemble Week here at No Quarter. I was hoping to continue it into next week but my drawing schedule just got packed! Thanks for playing along!
Ink and whiteout on paper. Colour and tone done in Photoshop. You can buy the original drawing off my store site.
Cap makes a back-to-back appearance. But, while I liked yesterday’s drawing of the Super Soldier just fine, this one has the sort of action that really does Captain America some justice.
Ink on paper. Colour and tone done in Photoshop. Original drawing will be available to buy on my store, soon!
I try to have these ready to go for the morning but I couldn’t decide between 2 different Captain America drawings to flesh out. So, instead of focusing on one, I ended up splitting my time and worked on both. That meant that I didn’t get one finished but had 2 half finished. Oh well… now I have tomorrow’s half done!
Ink and whiteout on paper. Colours and tone done in Photoshop. The original ink drawing is available to buy on my store.
In honour of the movie’s release and more importantly in honour of the creators that made these wonderful characters which in turn made the movie possible, this week is Avengers Assemble Week here at No Quarter!
First up is a personal favorite, The Mighty Thor! Thor has been credited as created by editor-plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and penciller Jack Kirby.
Ink and whiteout on paper. Colour and tone done in Photoshop. The original black and white drawing is available to buy on my store.
Ink and whiteout on paper. Grayscales done in Photoshop. The original drawing is available to purchase in my store. Only $25!
I seem to gravitate to the “street” type characters, like Daredevil, Moon Knight, Punisher and Iron Fist, when I sit to draw superheroes. I don’t know what that says about me but there it is.
Ink and whiteout on Bristol. Colours and tones were done in Photoshop. The original 6×9 drawing is available to buy at my store for $15.
